Disney Resort Snapshots: Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club
The Beach Club combines the relaxed comfort of a beach-front location with the luxuries of a Disney Deluxe resort. It’s a favorite among guests for its cozy atmosphere, its many services and amenities, its access to fine dining, and its amazing (and expansive) sand-bottom pool. And you can’t beat the location: the Beach Club is within easy walking distance of Epcot and the BoardWalk.
Disney’s Yacht Club Resort is sophisticated, with a nautical theme reminiscent of Nantucket in the 1880s. Disney’s Yacht Club Resort is as appealing to adventurous seafarers as it is to landlubbers who simply enjoy a stroll along the beachfront. Decked out with hardwood floors, brass accents, and comfortable furniture Disney’s Yacht Club provides the makings of a great vacation.

There are also seven whirlpool spas, a children’s playground, and the Lafferty Place Arcade.
Bayside Marina offers boat rentals, water cruises, fishing, and Disney’s Pirate Adventure for children ages 4 to 12 (when offered).
There are also two lighted Tennis courts and a volleyball court. You can relax at Periwigs Beauty and Barber Shop, Ship Shape Massage and Spa, or work out at Ship Shape Health Club.
Yacht and Beach Club also hosts Movies Under the Stars.
Although the activities vary by day, here are some examples of activities offered: trivia, arts and crafts, dance parties, games, and bingo.
Look for an activities board near the pool or food court, or check your tv for the schedule during your stay.
SERVICES
The laundry room is located at Admiral Pool.
Each cycle at the self-service laundry facilities costs $3 per wash; the dryers are also $3 for 30 minutes. Credit and debit cards are now accepted at all laundry locations for washers, dryers, and soap vending at most Walt Disney World Resort hotels. In addition, all laundry rooms have the ability to request a text message when a laundry cycle is complete!
Please note: While some locations still contain a limited number of coin-operated washers (with a change machine made available), other locations accept credit and debit cards only.
Walt Disney World Resort hotels also offer dry cleaning and valet laundry services. Select “Housekeeping” on your in-room phone to schedule a pick-up.

You’ll also find a plethora of shops to explore at the nearby Boardwalk.

PRO TIPS
- While room requests are not guaranteed at the Yacht Club, requests to be placed closest to the lobby will limit the amount of walking needed to get to the pool area and transportation to the Theme Parks.
- Enjoy the close proximity to Epcot’s World Showcase. While there is a boat launch available at Epcot, you can get there faster by walking.
- At the Beach Club, request a room with a full balcony or a patio. Most rooms at the Beach Club only have small Juliet balconies. Requests are not guaranteed if you want a full balcony stay at the Yacht Club.
- These resort hotels are located near the BoardWalk, offering a short walk to additional restaurants and nightlife that do not require park admission.
- Sometimes Disney’s bus transportation may share buses with the other resort hotels in the Epcot area around the BoardWalk. If you find yourself stopping at multiple stops, you may want to get off at the first stop and just walk the rest of the way. This is sometimes quicker than stopping at each resort hotel if the bus loop is being shared with multiple resorts.
