Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is a traditional, Victorian-inspired ‘seaside’ resort. Victorian elegance combines with modern sophistication to make staying at this gorgeous Disney Resort hotel an enchanting experience. 

Relax outdoors, indulge in a luxurious massage, and admire the evening fireworks as they light up the sky over Cinderella’s Castle. 

Just one stop away from Magic Kingdom park on the Resort Monorail, this classic Victorian-style resort evokes Palm Beach’s golden era. An open-cage elevator transports you in style to shopping and dining venues. The impressive Grand Floridian Orchestra, or professional pianist donning a tuxedo, entertains in the Grand Lobby.

With a tantalizing variety of dining options available, you’re sure to find something to satisfy any craving. Here, you’ll find everything from quick service to sensational sit-down style restaurants, as well as snack bars for a little pick me up, and a lounge where you can relax and unwind after a long day at the parks.

1900 Park Fare (Table Service) (not currently available)

Indulge in breakfast and dinner buffets, plus a festive afternoon tea party, each hosted by Disney Characters. Supercalifragilistic Breakfast: join favorite Disney Friends for this fabulously jubilant, all-you-care-to-enjoy breakfast buffet! Featuring custom-made omelets, fluffy mini pancakes, Mickey-shaped waffles, carved ham, and more. Cinderella’s Happily Ever After Dinner is a magical buffet dinner hosted by Cinderella and Prince Charming! The Princess storybook friends even join in the celebration as you have a ball dining on sumptuous seafood, salad, pasta, and beef specialties. The menu is representative of several “kingdoms” from around the globe and includes such child-friendly fare as chicken, cheese pizza, and macaroni and cheese.

Grand Floridian Cafe (Table Service)

At the Grand Floridian Cafe, bask in the sweeping views along the veranda that overlooks the courtyard and sparkling pool. Specialties include beautiful salads, soups, sandwiches, and creative entrées for lunch and steak and fresh seafood for dinner.

Narcoossee’s (Table Service)

Savor a beautiful view of Seven Seas Lagoon and Cinderella’s Castle while you delight in succulent seafood, steak, and more in this waterfront hideaway. Narcoossee’s serves a spectacular selection of fresh seafood from both local and global waters. For land-based fare, delight in options such as grass-fed filet mignon and the Black Angus New York strip. Or, enjoy the best of both worlds with a surf-and-turf dish that features sirloin steak and a lobster tail.

Victoria & Albert’s (Table Service/Signature/Fine Dining) 

At Victoria & Albert’s, enjoy only the finest cuisine at this elite, intimate, and sophisticated eatery recognized by the nation’s top food critics. This very special-occasion romantic Victorian retreat offers nightly harpists, elegant decor, fresh-cut flowers, personalized menus, Italian Sambonet silver, fine Royal Doulton and Wedgwood china, and Italian Frette tablecloths. An exceptional prix fixe menu paired with exceptional wines is prepared daily. Luxury ingredients and sheer artistry make any meal here a memory to cherish.  For an extra special night, book a spot at the Chef’s Table. 

Gasparilla Island Grill (Quick Service)

Relax and recharge in this casual dining restaurant. Start your day with Mickey Waffles or a breakfast platter. Enjoy a variety of lunch and dinner entrees. Selections include an artisan burger, pepperoni pizza, or a hot Italian sandwich. Beer and wine are also available.

Enchanted Rose (Lounge)

Tantalize your taste buds with delectable dishes and sparkling sips when you visit this newly reimagined lounge inspired by Beauty and the Beast. Enjoy an evening of enchantment, where you can order exquisite appetizers like White Sturgeon Caviar, Truffle Fries, and more. The bar itself is illuminated by the light of a magnificent golden chandelier inspired by Belle’s flowing ball gown.

Garden View Tea Room (Lounge) 

Relish an elegant morning or afternoon tea overlooking the beautiful gardens and pool at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Tea cakes and other traditional tempting treats accompany a wide selection of tasty teas.

Beaches Pool Bar & Grill

Enjoy a drink in style at this dazzling white gazebo bar by the sandy beach and zero-entry pool. Sip on a selection of wines, draft beers, and specialty cocktails—like the Sunshine Margarita. Snacks and poolside service are available.

Courtyard Pool Bar

Enjoy a refreshing dip, then a refreshing sip by the largest pool at the Resort. A ping-pong table and 2 TVs provide added entertainment. Specialty cocktails, beer, wine, sangria, a Buffalo chicken wrap, all-beef gourmet hot dogs, or pretzels with hummus are available through poolside service.

Children’s dining activities: (not currently available) 

Perfectly Princess Tea Party: Young princesses and princes are regaled with music, dancing, storytelling, and more at this unforgettable, courtly tea. Encouraged to dress as their favorite Disney Princess, young royals sip apple juice “tea” and feast on fruit, an assortment of sandwiches—some heart-cut—and Princess Cake. A magical rose fairy hosts the party, leading a special princess parade, storytelling, and sing-alongs.

In-Room Dining

Whether you’re hungry for a late dinner or you just want some breakfast when you wake up, private dining is the ticket. With Disney Resorts Private Dining, you can choose from a variety of American favorites—along with some specialty items particular to your Disney Resort hotel!

ACTIVITIES

Pools & Watersports: The Beach Pool is the main pool with a beach, zero-depth entry, a water slide, waterfalls, and cabana rentals.  Beside Beach Pool is the Alice in Wonderland Children’s Water Play Area for little ones to enjoy. Courtyard Pool, the ‘quiet’ pool, is located nearby for a little more relaxing environment. The Captain’s Shipyard Marina offers boat rental, water cruises, fishing excursions, and parasailing. 

Additional Fun: 

Enjoy lounging by the beach, playing volleyball or tennis, or pampering yourself at the full-service spa.  Silhouette artwork is offered daily from 6–10 p.m. in the main lobby. 

Movies: Nightly Disney Movies Under The Stars by the Courtyard Pool.

Although the activities vary by day, here is an example of some of the trivia, arts and crafts, dance parties, games, and bingo you might find. 

Look for an activities board near the pool or food court, or check your tv for the schedule during your stay.

SERVICES

Grand Floridian features multiple laundry rooms, with one on the second floor of the main building whilst the others can be found on the ground floor of all other buildings.

Each cycle at the self-service laundry facilities costs $3 per wash; the dryers are also $3 for 30 minutes. Credit and debit cards are now accepted at all laundry locations for washers, dryers, and soap vending at most Walt Disney World Resort hotels. In addition, all laundry rooms have the ability to request a text message when a laundry cycle is complete!

Please note: While some locations still contain a limited number of coin-operated washers (with a change machine made available), other locations accept credit and debit cards only.

Walt Disney World Resort hotels also offer dry cleaning and valet laundry services. Select “Housekeeping” on your in-room phone to schedule a pick-up.

SHOPPING

Shop til you drop at Disney’s Grand Floridian! Featuring several wonderful gift shops and stores, you’ll be dazzled by the selection of merchandise and the charm and magic of each store’s ambiance. 

Indulge in the aromatherapy enchantment while you shop at Basin.  This all-natural bath, body, and hair care emporium located in Disney Springs will have you surrendering your senses to the incredible luxury of its body butters, bath bombs, spiced bath salts, and fresh-sliced soaps.

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is Disney’s immensely popular spa experience for children. Children will undergo a royal transformation as they become elegant princesses and shining knights—right before your eyes at this unique boutique. (not currently available) 

Peruse the selections at Curiouser Clothiers and add a little glam to your look with Disney-inspired designer clothing, and shop for premium souvenirs or Character merchandise at this Parisian-inspired boutique. 

Stock up on Disney merchandise at M. Mouse Mercantile, the house of the mouse, for all things Mickey: apparel, toys, jewelry, and more, including princess wear and trading pins!

Find Grand Floridian logo emblazoned souvenirs, sundries, snacks, H2O products, postcards, thoughtful gifts, luggage, and even strollers at Sandy Cove Gifts and Sundries.

TRANSPORTATION

You have three Disney transportation options at Grand Floridian

  • Motorcoach Bus
  • Ferryboat
  • Monorail (to Magic Kingdom, transfer at TTC for EPCOT)

These travel times are approximate and provided to give you an idea of the average travel time from the resort to the park.

Please plan on up to a 20-minute wait for Disney transportation in addition to walking time to resort, or theme park transportation stops.

PRO TIPS 

  • Enjoy the musical stylings of the piano player located in the lower-level lobby area.
  • The beach at the Grand Floridian provides a perfect view of the Magic Kingdom Fireworks, as well as the electric water pageant. 
  • True to this resort’s theme, one of the best meals you can get is a true English tea at Garden View Tea Room! Have finger sandwiches and scones as you drink your very own Twinings pot of tea. (not currently available)
