ACTIVITIES
Pools & Family Fun:
BoardWalk Inn is home to Luna Park pool with a water slide themed as a wooden roller coaster, a nearby playground, two ‘quiet’ pools, and two whirlpool spas.
Entertainment:
The community hall has activities, games, and DVD rentals. Adult-only entertainment options include Jellyrolls dueling piano bar, and Atlantic Dance Hall. You can also enjoy water cruises, tennis, fishing, massage services at the nearby Yacht and Beach Club, and Movies Under The Stars nightly by the Luna Park Pool.
Although the activities vary by day, here is an example of some of the trivia, arts and crafts, dance parties, games, and bingo you might find.
Look for an activities board near the pool or food court, or check your tv for the schedule during your stay.
SERVICES
At Disney’s BoardWalk Inn and Villas, there is just one laundry room located on the third floor near the elevators.
Each cycle at the self-service laundry facilities costs $3 per wash; the dryers are also $3 for 30 minutes. Credit and debit cards are now accepted at all laundry locations for washers, dryers, and soap vending at most Walt Disney World Resort hotels. In addition, all laundry rooms have the ability to request a text message when a laundry cycle is complete!
Please note: While some locations still contain a limited number of coin-operated washers (with a change machine made available), other locations accept credit and debit cards only.
Walt Disney World Resort hotels also offer dry cleaning and valet laundry services. Select “Housekeeping” on your in-room phone to schedule a pick-up.
SHOPPING
Shopping is one of the most enjoyable activities you’ll find at the BoardWalk Inn!
Screen Door General Store is great for grabbing grocery basics, including snacks, milk, frozen foods, beer and wine, ice cream, cereal, donuts, packaged candy, and homewares, as well as some Disney items.
Thimbles and Threads offer all your favorite Disney merchandise and souvenirs. Stock up on mouse ears, trading pins, and autograph books at this adorable shop.
Disney’s Character Carnival is the absolute best place on the BoardWalk to find Disney character merchandise and other popular apparel and souvenirs for children. Located on the BoardWalk promenade, this will be a hit with the family for sure.

PRO TIPS
- The Belle Vue Lounge is a wonderful place to relax and have a small breakfast (pastries, coffee) or enjoy a drink in the evening. It’s quiet and calmer than the poolside.
- Leaping Horse Libations also has a wonderful vibe, great margaritas, and non-alcoholic choices, too! They also have a nice lunch and dinner menu, and they take the Disney Dining Plan (when available.)
- The best part about the BoardWalk is the evening entertainment. We love to circle around the performers and watch some old-fashioned fun. Card tricks, balancing plates on sticks, and juggling knives … it might sound old-fashioned for an electronic generation, but every time we stop to watch, we see that the kids around us are fascinated. It doesn’t cost a dime, and it’s a great way to relax after a long day at the parks.
